Thank You To Everyone who is Helping out and making donations to our rebuilding fund. Your kindness and support will greatly assist us to recover from the devestating fire loss of our home in North Carolina. We are extremely Thankfull no one was home or injured in the blaze!
We also want to thank the Caring Institute for nominating us To: Extreme Makeover Home Edition, and to everyone for supporting that nomination! We will keep our fingers crossed that they select our family for help rebuilding and announce any updates.
Possible Dream made the news!! The Miami branch of the Foundation made the Neighbors for Neighbors segment of CBS Channel 4 on both February 2 and February 9. The piece featured a wonderful community outreach project that we were the benefit of! On February 7, we had 100 high school students and a slew of other volunteers come to the Foundation loaded down with paint and supplies to touch up the homes and do basic repairs before our state inspection February 10. We could not have done it without the generosity of all of the volunteers, as well as Home Depot for donating supplies and Kathy Shabathai for organizing the event.
